Virtue of Patience


One thing which business textbooks need to teach is the value of patience.

Once you start analyzing different industries, you’d notice how the point of optimal scale for each industry varies on a time graph depending on multiple factors.

For tech, it’s relatively early because of the disruption capabilities and possibility of low-cost distribution.

For consumer goods, it falls on the right side of the graph because distribution and brand awareness takes time; it takes time to build trust.

And brands are valued by all their stakeholders (customers, employees, shareholders) based on trust.

The journey of a consumer brand can be complex and one that will surprise you at each step.

For us @Amrutam, 2022 has been full of learnings, surprises and patience.
